"Young adult book about a couple called Nell and Art who meet at a swimming pool and have a toxic relationship. Art is very troubled, he lives with his father and stepmother. His girlfriend lives with her parents and sister who are very protective. There are several books in the series. The books are all told from the female point of view. It is about young love and a developing relationship, excpet Art cannot commit. They go on holiday to Greece and she tells him she loves him, but he cannot say it back and then they split up."
