She discovers a sculpture by Rodin that had long been presumed stolen, hidden in a garden shed owned by a gardener or estate groundskeeper. I think he was descended from Rodin or had a family connection to him. I remember the heroine getting locked in the shed and the two characters falling in love. I specifically remember a scene where she goes to use the toilet and he thinks ti himself that he can hear her pee, and its dainty or tinkly or something"
