He invites her to stay in a spare room in his village home so she can write. She drives there in bad weather and discovers he is actually a man and also a writer. He is a single father with a very young daughter (primary school age). The mother has addiction/mental health issues and only supervised contact. The writer bonds with the child, falls for the father. Later the mother takes the child without permission, causing a missing-child panic before everything is resolved. Happy ending."
