Based on your description:

"Children's book from before 2005 that had multiple stories. One involved children in a waiting room, maybe looking at an aquarium, then they went under the sea (maybe just in their imagination). Another story involved children going to a museum and dinosaurs. The book had multiple stories in it, and each story had different characters."
