"the girl is good friends with a guy who basically saves her from her home life. She only sees him as a friend but he sees her as more. When he goes to college, she goes with him and moves into his apt. At some point she is attracted to another guy and starts up a relationship with him. Her guy friend winds up giving her an ultimatum to choose between her friendship with him or the other guy. She chooses her friend and breaks up with the other guy. At some point the guy “friend” pushes her to have a relationship and keeps pushing to move their physical relationship to the next level. When she doesn’t agree, he winds up picking up some “hook up girl” and locks the MFC out of their apt. It’s cold and raining out and she winds up walking to the other guys house which is a few miles away and he takes her in but she winds up getting real sick and he helps nurse her back to health. I thing the two guys are cousins and I think the guy she ends up with is from Texas (?) and his family owns a farm/ranch. Does this book sound familiar to anyone? Thank you in advance."
