"Romantic Suspense. Female character escapes from her ex (can’t remember if it’s (husband/fiance/boyfiend) as he is abusive with the help of his brother (who I think might be his twin) on night after she’s been severely beaten. She meets him in the woods and he give her a car to escape in. She ends up in a small town (I think) and falls for a military/ex-miltary guy (although he could be a biker). I think she meets him when they get in a car accident. The ex tracks her down after following his brother who she is still in contact with) and pretends to be the ‘good’ twin/brother (who he has killed) to kidnap her and kill her. I’m pretty sure his parents were involved as well. They were rich. The abusive ex was also possibly a cop/sheriff. The climax is where he takes her to a remote location, possibly beach, to kill her."
