"Fictional middlegrade or possibly ya book I read a few years ago; published 2000's or 2010's. I think the title is one word, maybe two; possibly something along the lines of "Infinite". About a futuristic society where everyone has one of three superpowers (one is time travel, I can't remember the other two). The main character's father traveled back through time to save a girl from her impending death (she has all three of the powers, by the way, which is why she's wanted dead) and went missing in time. The main character leaves his straight-laced mother and brother in the future to go illegally back in time to find his dad and/or save the girl's life. He's eventually captured by the lead bad guy (a female colonel? I think) and interrogated, and after that is sent to become a Null—his memories will be wiped and he'll be a mindless slave for the rest of his life. The scene I really remember is that, as he's being led to the building where he'll be Nulled, two of his friends (with the help of their teacher) burst out from their disguises as Nulls working in a nearby garden and carry him away to safety. The book alternates between the perspectives of the boy and the girl. I believe it's a hardcover, with a blue/silver/black type color scheme and a simplistic sci-fi design, no humans on the cover though. Around 200-300 pages, and English. Got it from the library and I haven't been able to remember the title since. "
