"a boy is staying or lives with his mom or aunt in possibly europe. near the sea though, he wants to go on a holiday and reads a book looks out the window and gets in a boat he travels across the ocean, its an adventure story but the main part i remember were these made up electrical water creatures attacking his boat, they mightve been keys or eels but it was made up for sure, eventually he comes home the whole thing mightve been a dream or a story but the style reminds me of greame base but i cant find any book that reminds me of it "
